Straws

This humble accessory is so often overlooked but has so much importance in bars, pubs and restaurants! As well as making it easier for your customers to drink their beverages, being more hygienic they also look great! To make sure you have plenty of stock, choose from a variety of straws all available on the Alliance website.  There are plenty of options too, from individually wrapped varieties to flexible straws, straight straws, colourful straws and more. 

Flexi Straws

These are used in tall drinks and can be bent almost at the top end for ease of drinking; there are a number of colours too from stripy blue, red, green and yellow to solid black, transparent and soft pastels.

Individually Wrapped Flexi Straws

These very hygienic options come singly wrapped in white paper which is easy to tear at the top.  Place these in a straw dispenser or hand them to the customer when serving their drinks. 

Straight Straws

Perfect for long drinks, cocktails and soft drinks straight jumbo straws come in a selection of brightly coloured stripes, red, blue, green and yellow.  They are also available in solid black and transparent.

Straw Dispenser

To keep your straws tidy, purchase space-saving dispensers which are ideal placed on the bar, behind the bar or at busy tables.

Sip Straws

These are used for short mixed drinks and cocktails and brighten up a glass no end!  Choose from bold red, solid black and transparent.

Other Straws

Don’t forget if you serve Frappes or drinks which have whipped cream or other elements choose straws designed for these too.  There are Frappe straws and spoon straw, flexible cocktail straws, slim straws, alcohopop bottle straws, super smoothie straws and even good old-fashioned paper straws for some retro fun!

Points to remember:

  • Have a variety of straws according to the drinks you serve
  • Keep dispensers handy so they are easily accessible and neatly stored away
